What we offer producers, location managers and filmmakers
On the University of Stirling campus there’s a wide range of distinctive and visually diverse settings. It gives you one single, easily managed production environment.
Locations include:
- Pathfoot Building, a Category A listed example of striking 1960s modernist architecture, complete with an extensive art collection. It was used as a period setting in in BBC drama The Bombing of Pan Am 103.
- Our modern Campus Central development with vibrant digitally connected spaces, as well as shops and cafés. Recently used in a BBC production, it also won a prestigious national architecture award, being named one of seven extraordinary new buildings in Scotland in the 2023 RIAS Awards by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.
- The Link Bridge, a large-scale internal walkway that doubled as Boston Airport in Outlander, Season 4.
- Dumyat, a hill situated at the edge of our campus. Here you'll find Ivy Cottage which gives you a magnificent view of Dumyat in the background. Used as a village in season one of Outlander.
