Book History, Writing and Publishing
This theme is concerned with textual production, reproduction, materiality, circulation and reception. It brings together historically-oriented research in book history and material cultures – for example in the Early Modern period, in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century library history, in textual editing from Medieval Studies to the nineteenth century – with the study and practice of contemporary writing, editing and book cultures, including digital.
Knowledge exchange, research and collaboration across this theme is facilitated by Stirling Centre for International Publishing and Book Cultures and by the Pathfoot Press.
