Bridging Skills for Working Lives is a half-day interactive event designed to introduce young people to the strategic card game bridge as a tool for developing workplace-relevant skills. There is no cost to attend, and light refreshments will be provided

Who’s leading the event?

The event leaders are:

Volunteers from the Clyde Bridge Centre and the Scottish Bridge Union will be leading demonstrations and case studies of workplace skills.

Who should attend the event?

This event is suitable for young people aged 11–26, as well as educators, parents, and community stakeholders interested in innovative approaches to career preparation and skill development.. 

It will be of particular interest to young people who love playing games – especially strategy games – and learning new skills. The event has been specifically designed for young people who are curious about career development or actively preparing for their future careers.
