Free movie nights for students

In partnership with Macrobert Arts Centre, we're offering a limited number of free tickets to several screenings throughout the semester as part of the university's 'BeConnected' programme (free community building activities for students and staff).

Movie choice and timings will be released no later than 1 week prior to the event via email and follow the below themes:

Sunday 8 September: My Neighbour Totoro - movie will start at 17:15, please ensure you have checked in with our Residence Assistants, at the Macrobert reception, in the evening to confirm your space. Check in will open at 16:45 with pizza served in the Macrobert Cafe from 19:00 for movie attendees.

Sunday 29 September: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (12A) - movie will start at 17:15, please ensure you have checked in with our Residence Assistants, at the Macrobert reception on the evening to confirm your space. Check in will open at 16:45 with pizza served in the Macrobert Cafe from 19:00 for movie attendees.

• Sunday 27 October: Halloween Movie Screening (Film TBC)
• Sunday 15 December: Christmas Movie Screening (Film TBC)

Free pizza will be included before or after the film screening for these dates.

Sound great? Book your preferred date(s) via the link and then head to the Macrobert Reception at the indicated time within your confirmation email to check in for your ticket. Please ensure you bring your QR code with you for check-in, we may be unable to check you in if you arrive late.

These events are designed to help you enjoy your time on campus, take a breather from studies/work, and meet new people. We expect these sessions to sell out quickly. If you are unable to grab a ticket, please feel free to pop by on the day and we will accommodate you if there are spaces available.
