Celebrating Diwali: A Festival of Light

Join us at 2:00pm on Friday 1 November 2024 to celebrate the spiritual victory of "light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance" as part of our 'BeConnected' programme. Pop down to Haldane's and enjoy traditional bites, music, and, if you're feeling creative, build decorative lamps to take home and enjoy. Diwali is a time for exchanging gifts so please feel free to bring an item, fully wrapped, and swap for a beautiful parcel with another in exchange.

Traditional dress is encouraged if you have this. If you do not, we would love you to show support for the celebration by dressing in something yellow, orange, or red to symbolise fire and light!

The event is open to all students and staff.
