International students - Ghana
Welcome to the University of Stirling in the heart of Scotland, UK. Here you will find lots of useful information for students from Ghana including entry and English language requirements, scholarships and funding information, and where you can meet our representatives in-country.

If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of your English language skills. For a complete list of the English language qualifications we accept, including where we are able to waive an English condition based on certain local qualifications, please see our English Language requirements.
Undergraduate
Minimum of 5 grades at B or above, and no grade below C in the WAEC (West Africa Examinations Council)/WASSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Examination). Applicants must have a minimum score of B in any essential subject that is required for the course. Find out more about the University of Stirling's Foundation programmes.
We also accept applications from students who have completed one year of relevant university study.
Postgraduate
Minimum 2.2 degree from a recognised university (CGPA 2.5/4, C+, 65%). Applicants from institutions affiliated to Ghanaian universities may be asked to achieve a higher standard for entry to a Masters course.
