EU students are classified as International students by the UK Government for tuition fee purposes.
For students starting with us in January 2026, you will be eligible for our 2025/26 EU Scholarship. Eligible students will be awarded a £5,000 tuition fee discount in years 1-3 and an Honours Year Scholarship covering the full cost of the fees for their Honours year (Year 4) of study.
September 2026 and January 2027 entry
Eligible students starting a course in September 2026 and January 2027 will be eligible for an automatic £5,000 fee discount each year of study.
Eligibility and availability
- You must be classed as an International student for tuition fee purposes.
- You must be ordinarily resident in the EU prior to commencing your studies.
- Students from the Republic of Ireland will not be eligible for this scholarship as Irish students are eligible for our range of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland scholarships.
- If you are offered more than one University of Stirling award, then the highest value award will be applied. This scholarship can only be combined with the University of Stirling's Sports scholarships.
- This award is only available to students entering directly into a full-time undergraduate degree programme, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus.
How to apply
No application is necessary. All eligible EU students who enter an undergraduate degree course at the University of Stirling will automatically be allocated a discount.
