Ioanna lagonika

Ioanna is an international student from Greece. She is studying the MLitt Creative Writing.

A real highlight for me has been the variety of projects and modules on the course. I’ve had amazing and inspiring teachers. They've taught me so much about the publishing industry. The course has helped me to network and make connections with people I can hopefully work with.

Making the most of creative opportunities on campus

l really enjoy living on campus. I joined the Stirling University Drama Society (SUDS) and have loved being being part of it. I got the chance to direct my first theatre play and got great satisfaction seeing it performed. I've got to meet people from all over the world who share my interests. I've made friendships that I wouldn’t be able to make anywhere else. There's so many creative opportunities at Stirling.

My advice for international students

You should join as many societies as possible. Also go along to all the fun Stirling Students' Union activities  The experiences are worth it.
