Working through a Doctor of Education (EdD) was a big commitment but extremely worthwhile. While it certainly deepened my professional knowledge and understanding, it also challenged my personal values and attitudes.

Encouraged by my supervisors, my thesis took a less traditional approach as I wanted the findings to be accessible to teachers, not just academics.

I am currently creating a teacher development programme for Education Scotland using sections of the thesis.
