What happens at an on-campus Open Day?

Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our campus and facilities, learn more about our academic courses and speak to our lecturers and current students.

Make the most of your day and be sure to see everything we have to offer. A full programme will be available to download shortly before the Open Day, so make sure you come back and check our website for further updates. 

Registration

Once you arrive on campus you'll go to our check-in desk. Register and pick up your Open Day pack.

Open Day runs from 09:00 to 15:00, the registration desk opens at 08:45.

Information stands

We’ve got a range of stands where you can talk to staff from different departments and partner organisations including:

  • accommodation zone
  • admissions and applicant advice
  • Stirling sport
  • student support services
  • Students’ Union zone
  • Widening Participation
  • Study Abroad
  • University security and safety

The stands will be open from 09:00 to 15:00.

Campus tours

Explore all aspects of the campus with those who know it best – our student ambassadors! There’s no need to book, just turn up at the tour collection point. There are three different tours you can go on:

  • Campus tour (09:00 - 15:00): You’ll go through our main academic buildings, sports facilities and lochside student accommodation. It includes a stop at the Pathfoot building and at student accommodation. 
  • Accommodation tour (09:00 to 15:00): You’ll get to explore different types of accommodation we have on offer.
  • Sport tour (10:00 to 15:00): As Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence, you can discover our sports facilities with members of staff from the Sports Centre.

Many of our subject areas also do tours of teaching facilities.
