As a University of Stirling graduate, you’re part of a global community that is truly making a difference. We’re leading the fight against tobacco-related harm in Asia and Africa, empowering communities through sustainable aquaculture research, and working to improve the lives of people with dementia.
In short, you can be proud of where you’ve come from, and you can also play a major part in our future. There are two main ways our alumni choose to support the University: by giving financially, or by volunteering their time. If you’d like to do one of those things as well, you’ll find more information below about specific causes and opportunities you can support.
University of Stirling Golf Auction 2026
Stirling’s annual Golf Auction will run from Friday 13 November at 12:00 (GMT) / 07:00 (EST) to Sunday 22 November at 20:00 (GMT) / 15:00 (EST).
Golf enthusiasts can bid for a range of fantastic auction lots including:
- A training day with the 2026 Walker Cup-winning coach Dean Robertson.
- Rounds at a host of top courses at home and abroad, including Augusta Country Club, Royal Troon, Royal Dornoch, Turnberry and Gleneagles.
- A round for three at Dunbar Golf Club with former Rangers, Hearts and Scotland star Neil McCann, the current manager of Kilmarnock.
- A round for three at Kingsbarns in Fife with professional golfer and former Stirling sports scholar Lorna McClymont.
- A one-night stay and round for four at the five-star Schloss Roxburghe in the Scottish Borders.
- A signed Padraig Harrington shirt.
