About me

I am a Trainee Health Psychologist at the University of Stirling, undertaking my Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology. Since 2021, I have been based within NHS Lanarkshire’s Health Improvement Team, working in the Tobacco and Vaping Programme team. In this role, I lead patient and staff consultation projects to understand what is working well and where services can improve, as well as providing one-to-one stop smoking support to clients.

My professional background spans health improvement, behaviour change, and service design/innovation across the NHS, public sector, and third sector, and I previously was co-director of a company that created mindfulness mediation apps and other products.

My academic interests focus on the design and implementation of public health interventions that promote equitable health outcomes. I am particularly interested in exploring whether interventions should be adapted for different cultural and ethnic groups to ensure they are both effective and inclusive.
