I am a Lecturer in Exercise Physiology & Coaching at the University of Stirling. My expertise spans across health and wellbeing, and sport performance. My health research interests focus on ways to increase population physical activity and decrease sedentary behaviour to improve health outcomes. My sport performance research interests focus on elite football settings, specifically women's football, and strength and conditioning to improve health and performance.
I teach across both postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, and I supervise student research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I also engage in applied practice at a football academy and use my skills and experience to inform students looking to pursue a career in sport science.
My philosophy is to bring theory and practice together to offer students an insight as a practitioner working in potentially a field they wish to pursue.
