About me

I am currently undertaking a PhD aimed at improving walking patterns and obstacle negotiation in older people.

Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree in applied psychology from the University of Delhi (July 2016- June 2019). Following that, I pursued a conversion master's course in psychological science with a specialization in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Glasgow (Sept. 2019- Sept. 2020). Subsequently, I attained a master's degree in experimental psychology with data science from the University of Manchester (Sept. 2021-Sept. 2022). I also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Manchester from October 2022 to September 2023.

My PhD research investigates the neural mechanisms underlying the preparation for and response to obstacles during walking under dim lighting conditions. I am also exploring the potential of galvanic vestibular stimulation to enhance walking stability in low-visibility environments.
