About me
I began my academic journey in Zoology before completing a One Health MSc, where I developed a passion for exploring the connections between human, animal, and environmental health. This led me to focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the need for integrated approaches to address it. My PhD research looks at AMR in seafood production and supply chains, addressing the current gap in understanding how risks emerge and transmit across these systems with the aim of supporting safer seafood, stronger policies, and more sustainable aquaculture. Outside of research, I can usually be found out with my horse or hiking up another Ben.
My research interests extend across Antimicrobial Resistance, One Health, Sustainable Food Systems, Aquaculture, and Risk Management Frameworks.
