Dr Viktoria Mileva

About me

Dr Viktoria Mileva is a Lecturer in Psychology (FHEA), on a Teaching and Scholarship contract at the University of Stirling. She is the Faculty of Natural Sciences AI Lead, the Deputy Lead Scholar for the Community of Scholars, and leads the Psychology Communities programme.

Teaching & Curriculum Focus

Her current focus is on developing best practice in critical AI literacy and exploring how AI can be meaningfully integrated into assessments and wider teaching and learning. She is also interested in creating a skills-based, democratic curriculum that foregrounds social, global, and environmental justice.

Supervision

Viktoria supervises final-year undergraduate and MSc dissertations and is committed to advancing inclusive, student-centred pedagogical approaches.

Research Interests

Her research focuses on three key areas:

AI use amongst students and staff, including critical AI literacy and its implications for higher education

Personality and Individual Differences, particularly in relation to people's AI (and climate crisis) behaviours and well-being

climate change psychology, exploring how people think, feel, and act in response to the climate crisis.
