Nursing and paramedic science fees
Information on fees, funding and scholarships for nursing and paramedic science students.
For all students, we cover the costs of occupational health consultations, criminal record checks, compulsory uniforms and inoculations, representing approximately £430 of savings.
Scottish students
If you are domiciled in Scotland and meet the eligibility criteria, you do not need to pay tuition fees if you’re studying to be a paramedic or nurse.
Tuition fee grants for all paramedic and nursing students are administered by SAAS. All students, new and returning, are required to apply to SAAS each year for their tuition fee grant.
Scottish nursing students also receive a SAAS bursary of £10,000 per year (Years 1–3) and £7,500 in Year 4. The University also covers costs for health checks, uniforms, and more, saving around £500.
All eligible students can apply for a bursary each year through the Paramedic, Nursing and Midwifery Student Bursary Fund (PNMSB), administered by SAAS.
Further details of both the tuition fee grant and bursary can be found on the SAAS website.
